if i buy a mac mini what else do i need ?

    do i need to buy a screen, keyboard, mouse etc....

    will my windows keyboard etc work with the mac mini ?

    Yes, you will need to buy a screen, you can pick one up second hand, but the cheapest I've seen is about 250.

    You will need new keyboard etc, you can get really cool ones for about 150.

    Any USB keyboard or mouse should work, yes. And the Mini has a HDMI port and comes with a HDMI to DVI adapter. So if your current display is either HDMI or DVI (as nearly all current displays are), it will work. It doesn't support VGA, however.

    Unless you want to go up north or to the US, Apple prices are pretty much the same everywhere.

    You could try the Apple refurb store or second-hand from Ebay or Adverts. But in both cases you may end up with an older model that doesn't have HDMI and/or may not come with an adapter.

    €250 for a screen? I've a 23" LG HD screen cost about €160 incl VAT......Elara AFAIR.

    Was in Curries yesterday and saw a HP 23" LED monitor with DVI and VGA for 149 euro !
