Best basic e-reader suitable for my old mother.

    I want to get an e-reader for my 77 year old mother. Can anyone make a recommendation?

    I want to pay as little as possible, so I don't want to buy her one with lots of bells and whistles she won't need. Remember she has no idea how to even use a mobile phone, so 3G, apps, audio and web browsing and the like are a waste of time.

    Once a month or so I will put a few books onto it for her, she will read them and then I'll get her a few more books. Every site I go to, seems to get wrapped up how many extra sexy and cool features their e-reader has, well she doesn't need them.

    So in conclusion, what is the best bog standad e-reader on the market?
