If you're going for a Hasselblad, you may as well go for a Leica too! Here's some really good buyers advice if you are going to buy them. :pac:

    Just went mad on eBay.
Sega Saturn boxed pal for 44euro posted. Also boxed green micro mint and a neo geo pocket colour included as well for another 45 euro. Delighted with the lot as it's all stuff been looking for a while.
Up next rgb cable and action reply from console goods uk.
Where could I get the switch for the Saturn done?

I feel kinda small for just getting Dark Souls yesterday, still haven't got to play it yet though, watched Harold & Kumar go to White Castle followed by Men Who Stare At Goats instead

Worth it for the box though :) Less said about the game the better.
AVGN actually played it in his transformers episode come to think of it

Well, finally got to play it!
    Dark Souls!

Them died, a couple of times...

    But I'm getting better!

I have to say, Dark Souls and it's predecessor Demon's Souls have a sense of place, for want of a better turn of phrase, than anything since Ico and SOTC.
The environment plays such a massive part in the game, not a just a pretty texture mapped set of boxes to play in, oh no!
Reminds of the mansion in the first Resi game and the Re-resi on the GC, same feeling.

I won't be able to visit an old ruined castle on my holidays without checking the stairwells for boulders and hidden archers, or look for messages on the floor before corners!

    Just After picking up

    A Ps2 fat
    A Psone
    Another Xbox

    And i got a Psp 3001 yesterday for €40

Will upload photos when i get home

Think that is going to be it for a while unless a Cheap Dreamcast/Saturn/Spectrum/Atari/Game Gear/Lynx/Amiga/Sam coupe/Bbc Micro/Another Xbox shows up:D

It's a challenge alright. Progress is sllloowww, but it's a fascinating place to explore. No modern checkpointing or any hand-holding. It's you vs the world. And firebombs. ****ing firebombs.

    Master of the Universe

Those firebombs are absolute bastards! You think you've won a little scenario and then some ****er rains down firely death from above.

I'm approaching it from a 1cc shmup perspective. If you die, just learn from it and try again. Don't **** your controller across the room.

Spear + shield combo is my new pet hate. Gah!

Even coming from Demon's Souls (although haven't played it in about two years), the difficulty curve is nuts! There's a bit with a gate in the Parish level that is both the most infuriating and brilliant trick a game designer has ever played on me.

Looking at the new PSP there online, basically a slim and lite without Wifi.
Still, it's only 99 euro, or will be when launched.
Have to wonder if there is a market still for a UMD based system?
I will have to get the whole horrid set eventually, PSP-1000, 3000 and Go, I have the 2000 as it stands.

Mother just gave me her DSlite = Win
She still has my GameBoy = No Win :pac:

Metal slug 4 for PS2. Does that count as retro?
I also completed my G.B. Zelda collection (almost): Minish cap, Links Awakening, Links Awakening DX, Oracle of seasons, Oracle of ages, Legend of Zelda (NES classics) Adventure of Link (NES classics). I just need one more...

When you power it on, are there any pixel lines missing? I've three, and they all have pixel lines missing.

I think it's a good idea, only problem is when they release it will you actually be able to buy PSP games in the shops anymore because every day the PSP displays get smaller and smaller.
I am probably gonna get one as my sons showing interest in PSP now and I don't want him destroying my existing PSP console collection.
