Do ye think the story will end this game? Even though mw2's story was kinda non-sensical it was still fun and interesting because there's not really more they can do after World War 3

kinda? You think? :) It is a blast though!
Played it again over the weekend and I'm still humming the score from when y'er chasing after Sheperd in the speedboats at the end.

Speaking of which... Anyone find ouT who's doing the score of MW3?

Brian Tyler, did the last Rambo movie, Constantine, the last few Fast and Furious movies, Final Destination 5, Battle La, The Expendables. does good action scores so should work well. pity its not Hans Zimmer again though.

    ^ love that track

this is one of the best intros of any of the SP levels, love the air raid warnings going off in the background as the guy is screaming "I'm looking at fighter jets over I-95!"

must give the sp campaign a bash again before MW3 comes out, do it on recruit and bomb through it

Urgh I love that scene so much, one of my favorite moments is when Price contacts Makarov with the whole "The enemy of my enemy is my friend speech" :D

That when you're charging through the boneyard? love that level it mental with so much going on, steering the car into the ramp of Nikolais plane is brilliant, I love how he gives out to you "ze situation is not under control!"

This has just got me excited for MW3, so I now hate you. I think I may have to run through it again too, to keep the story fresh.

Aye, the whole production design from IW is slick as fcuk, always has been, love those gps maps and flyarounds the world when going to new locations. I still watch the intro to MW2 occasionally if you leave the title screen alone for a couple of minutes, the "revenge is like a ghost" trailer, tis awesome.

I still preferred the CoD4 "Our so-called leaders... prostituted us to the West. Destroyed our culture... our economies... our honor. Our blood has been spilled on our soil... My blood... on THEIR hands... THEY are the invaders. All US and British forces will leave Russia immediately... or suffer the consequences."

    :)

I love Keith Davids as an Actor but my god I'm glad to see Foley go, Sandman looks like a kick ass character

but....who'll shout "Ramirez! take out that blahblah with this thingamajig!" at us now :pac: no reason the Rangers cant all be in it again, Tobey Maguire is an odd choice for a cast member as well

thought this was a fantastic ad, nice that characters from non Sony exclusive games are in it:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,788 ✭✭✭✭krudler

be interesting to see how Africa figures into it, prob be like the missions in Rio in MW2, off on a wild goose chase or getting info. theres a ton of movie references in there again

Yeah, but it's a US only promotion. Rules are here: http://www.rankupxp.com/Teaser
Turn Those Empty Calories Into Double XP with Modern Warfare 3 Mountain Dew & Doritos

Snack enthusiasts will have a powerful advantage over their non-snacking multiplayer rivals in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, thanks to Doritos and Mountain Dew's "Rank Up Your Game" scheme. It turns the consumption of nacho cheese flavored chips and carbonated beverages into cold, hard experience points—twice as many, 15 minutes at a time.

The people who harvest the sweet, refreshing nectar from mountaintops and stuff it in a bottle are giving Call of Duty fans a "Game Fuel" to call their own this fall. Not only will it (presumably) quench thirsts and capably wash down tortilla chips of the nacho cheese and cool ranch varieties, it will give Modern Warfare 3 players a "double XP" boost if they redeem unique codes from Mountain Dew and Doritos products.

There's also a big old sweepstakes attached to the promo, with PepsiCo and Activision giving away a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, subscriptions to Call of Duty: Elite, video game hardware, clothing and other Modern Warfare-themed prizes.

What does one get for their purchase of Mountain Dew in its many shapes and sizes? The official Dew XP site breaks it down, explaining the exchange for one 20 ounce bottle of MTN DEW to 15 minutes worth of double experience in the game's multiplayer modes.

Game UK are doing extra XP with pre orders, I wonder if Gamestop here will be doing the same thing!

Why are they getting rid of Foley?

A back story on Ghost is a bad idea.
