Got an email saying my Friday tutorial was moved to 11 this morning. That would have been fine but the lecturer sent the email at 9. Great that I'm given plenty of notice to move plans/not sleep...

Once got an email at 10pm at night telling us how we were to submit an assignment by 12pm the next day. Now that would be fine, if you didn't have to go to the CSIS building to submit it and I didn't have lectures from 9am to 2pm straight on a Friday.....

Doubt it, even playschoolers aren't that immature...

They got rid of the glue now, but Mike got a look at it, so I'd say there'll be repercussions for the whole block.

The internet in Dromroe is SH*T!!!!!! Keeps randomly disconnecting for no reason... then I have to plug the cable in and out for like two minutes to get it working again....

Set my alarm for 8.30 monday morning, dragged myself out of the bed even though i was wrecked and prepared myself for my 2 hour lecture. As i was walking through milford school i was like "wheres all the traffic?" continued on through the courtyard wondering why was it so quite. Arrived at the foundation building and wondered why the place was empty. Phone read 9.03
Knew something was wrong, so i went into time and date settings where i realised it decided to change to some middle european time and was a hour fast on gmt +2:(
Yes I was a hour early for my Monday morning 2 hour lecture.

This is a regular moan of mine but it really annoyed me today.

How is it..when its been a problem since ive started coming here...that they haven't fixed the seating in the Jean Monnet??? Comfiest lecture theatre no doubt but to work in is a complete fail. Only about ten of the chairs have a table attached to the armrest to put a copybook on. I don't know about anyone else but i find it harder to write neatly when i am balancing the copy on my knee at the same time. Just looked at the notes i took from last week and most of it is messy as hell.:mad:

Find it very annoying when i take out a book at the library desk, and when i leave the security scanner beeps at the exit, security tell me to go back and take it out again. Gets annoying after a while.

It's a great place to have a lecture if you don't really care about it.... I fell asleep in their one day. :)

But yeah, pure joke of a place to actually do work. By the end of the semester last year I'd given up taking notes in there altogther.

I hope, before I graduate, that I can send an email to ALL STUDENTS. I might actually feel like the majority of the college then because it certainly seems as though I get enough emails (that everyone else gets too) for that to be the case.

    Hi All,

Just a quick email to remind you about something you don't care about.

Remember the email we sent a week ago? Well the same thing you didn't care about then is happening today! YAY!

And remember, there are great rates to be had in the UL Arena as well. Wooo!

Had a tutorial with 4th year business students (I'm in 3rd year). We were doing differentiation, the equation being:

    .0006Q^2 went to .0012Q

Cue utter confusion. No-one able to comprehend what had just happened. Tutor wasn't sure either. What the hell!? They've had 4 modules since 1st year about how to differentiate. If you don't know how to do it now: you're a dumbass.

Should it not be called "DDS" then instead of BBS?

John Monnet was supposed to have got new seats like the John Holland did but was met by opposition so maybe that's maintenance's way of saying "up yours". :P

I give you a step by step then
    1 Sit in the chair
2 Put your right leg on your left leg ( This is called crossing your legs)
3 Put your notepad on your crossed legs
4 Hold a pen of any colour in you hand
    5 Listen to the lecture
6 Wright down on the notepad what the lecture says

    Hope this helped :-)
