+1. This coupled with the 40 pair of sonys yesterday. It seems to be the easiest way to rile up BA regulars:rolleyes:
To be fair if we stop taking people at their word it renders Boards pretty useless.

I'd be 99% certain the person with the earphones was telling the truth TBH

Just checked Tesco in Ardkeen.Waterford and no sign of these deals at all. Having said that, I didn't see any of those particular products on the shelves, might check a different tesco later on

Just checked the Tesco Four seasons section of Crescent S.C. Limerick. Couldnt find the cruzer flash drives the OP posted. There were some 8GB ones called a cruzer slice (or something) but they were scanning at 27+ euro.

I did find a Hitachi 1TB external harddrive. The Shelf sticker was saying it was on sale for 101 euro but it was scanning at 51euro. I didn't pick it up and there were at least two on the shelf. Might suit someone.

    Hi kendragon
is the price checker on the wall the final price or would it be cheaper after it scans in at the till ?

In the past with some reduced items i bought, it would only properly come off at the till.

I wounder is its the same with these hard drive stuff

I seen one of these yesterday and it still scanned in at 5x.00 € at the price checker in the shop, does it become cheaper once it goes through the till ?

Or is it only reduced in certain stores

I got some speakers the other day over in Tesco Ashbourne (they didn't have any of this bargain alert techy stuff, from what I could see, fyi).

Anywho, the shelf said the speakers were 10, yet the self service till said €18. I asked one of the staff and after checking it themselves, they sent me over to customer services and I got them for €10.
So I guess if you ask, you might get the bargain price.

Mind you, 10/18 euro is probably considered a negligible loss compared to 16/49 euro on a portable HDD?

You could have paid the 18 euro. then went back in to customer services explained that they are marked for 10 euro .
They would have given you back the 18 euro and you would get the speakers for free.

i was in paul st this morning. they only had one drive, a 4gb one for 3.42.
I threw it in the top back shelf of the computer accessories section on the end of the 3rd isle if anyone wants it. ( theres a bunch of newer drive there on display there for 2x.xx, so its on top, in behind them)

I think its just the difference that is returned now.

Actually it should be double the difference. Which in this case would mean that you should have gotten the speakers plus €20 back with an €18 investment :D

The are €8.02 for a cruzer blade, others seem to be getting them ok!

There is a cruzer slice 8gb that is not on clearance, also ask someone to check the price on training mode!

The one in Longwalk in Dundalk has quite a few for anyone who's near there but you would need to ask one of the guys in the hardware dept as they are out back!!

    Also,
Picked up a belkin Iphone windsceen car mount for €1.50:eek:

Manor, but since I took this pic almost three weeks ago I am fairly sure that you don't need to look for them anymore. I did post it at that time, though...

I'm pretty sure I saw these drives in Easons for €12 today. Not as cheap as Tescos but they'd loads in stock...
