    Good man.

Watch out for a series from PD(seems a nice lad) on some obscure UK channel sometime soon:D

Just to correct you - I'm female, not male.

And I'd say, if he did get another TV show it wouldn't be on an obscure channel. He's hit the big time now.

Apologies Ms. Sunflower, you sounded male on my PC.Forgive me.

All of your above post post really endorsed my point, vested interest.

Forgive me for not being up to speed with reality TV- never tolerate it.

Glad you qualified your previous posts man.

I found my initial impression was favourable too, seemed a good guy, but I'd need a lot more info before I'd go on the 'hinternet' extolling his virtues.

A lot of naive people around these days, that's where 'spin' and PR,and most of all vested interest, can get you.!

    M'kay:cool:

oh god yeh, am sure he has an army working for him, spin doctors, hair, make up, media advisors, the lot - he was so slick. A PRs wet dream

If you read the link posted by Hondsam, you would see that he was in a TV show, that is how I know.

    oh, really?

you reckon any advisor, PR would have let him be as open as he was last night?

He wasn't coached, far from it, pal

Correct Ms. Sunflower, I didn't know he was in a TV show.Never read that link.

Wouldn't be my type of viewing, to be honest.

    Are you kidding. Open!!

What are people talking about today?

His experiences with his dead son.

Not saying it was contrived, but please don't tell me you think it wasn't mentioned to hype things up?

Give us credit for some intelligence buddy.

Not mine either, never saw it, but just thought you may like to know the fact seeing as you are talking about the guy and his 'upcoming' show. No harm knowing the facts of what you are talking about.

Fair enough Ms. Sunflower, again proves that there was vested interest behind him.

Now I liked the guy on first impression, but that stuff was all an act.

Fair dues to him if he can con people and make a living out of it.

    jade goody did it .

There are always idiots out there who are taken in.

When you consider that tomorrow morning millions of people will partake in communion whereby bread and wine are believed to trans-substantiate into flesh and blood, Paddys story doesn't seem that shocking.

It was interesting to see Paddy and then David Norris, has Paddy a chance at the Aras I wonder?

The 'stuff' of being a nice guy and not wishing to tell a lie on my baby's life.

I'm not saying he is not a nice guy, he may very well be, but that stuff on the LLS last night was all an act to promote his career, whatever that is.

More of a chance than David Norris after last nights interview.

Hardly! The stuff he came out with last night is not from someone who wants a "career" in the entertainment industry.

He admitted he drank some of his dead kids blood for gods sakes, I would not call that savy, nor contrived.

So you are saying he may be a nice guy as you don't really know that much about him yourself.

And do you think he rang the LLS for an interview or did they contact him? I'd be guessing after winning Celeb BB they were hankering to get him on there.

The majority of people that go on there are promoting something - a film, album, book. He hasn't anything to promote at the moment as he hasn't secured anything.

His account of what happened with his son is more likely to do more damage than good anyway as most people can't understand what he did. There is no way any PR people he may or may not have would have told him tell that incident and ham it up.

I believe his account of what happened at the hospital was genuine, heartfelt and real.

Did you even watch it? Just curious.

So? That's literally the only reason chat-show guests have ever appeared on those programmes. Why do you expect him to be any different?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,029 ✭✭✭✭Chuck Stone

To eat pieces of his dead sons still warm flesh is part of his culture and to criticise him would be to discriminate and we just cant do that can we?

There are approximately a billion people who routinely chop the foreskin off their own children while they're alive; by comparison, consuming a bit of your dead son in the throes of grief seems decidedly tame.

Seems like a genuine sort does Paddy.

I can totally understand the reasoning behind what he did, hopefully the tabloids will show more tact than they usually do and ignore this story.

Correct me if I am wrong pal, but that's the point I have been making all evening.

    He actually promoted nothing.

If they asked him on the show, then why shouldn't he go?

I'm keeping up fine, buddy. ;) Just curious to know why you're acting so surprised that this particular hombre is promoting his media career by appearing on television. You can answer a simple question like that, right? ;) Not that hard, compadre.

Not in the least surprised.Where did I indicate that surprise bro?

Just surprised that so many posters seem to be convinced that this lad ( and I liked the fcuker too) is exactly as he appears on TLLS.

Is that plain enough for you ?
