TV Points Issue

    I recently moved into a new house and they are 2 TV Points in Living Room, 1 in the kitchen and 1 in the bedroom. How do I get these points to work with the aerial. Do the TV Points go to the attic or somewhere else and also there is a cable box at the side of my house and not sure what it is for.
