UPC canceled,but will box and card still work?

My work mate has just canceled the UPC,as hes moving house at the moment. Would a UPC box and card still work in another house,after the UPC was canceled in the house where the UPC box was originally??

No, the card is the enabler and as it's been disabled, the box won't work, in his house or yours.

In all likelihood they will want both the card and box back.
They are entitled to charge you if you don't return them, €150 if I remember correctly.
