That when your a good friend of a males, you know it. Now -- he might not say nice things to you, might tease you, might accuse you of being moody.
But it's not the things that they say, it's things that they do.

They'll walk you home with that protective arm around the bottom of your back, unlike girls who would just be interested in burying a knife in your back.

They're good at difusing situations, where we lose our temper and act irrational.

They're good for helping you out with man trouble.

They're good for massages.

They're good at keeping secrets.

They're good for holding your hand when it's dark.

They're good for teaching you how to burp impressively.

They're good for honest opinions.

They're good for changing wheels on cars.

They're good for holding hands whilst pushing through a crowd.

They're good for having your back whenever you need them.

And they're good for open honest heart to hearts, when they trust you enough to tell you how they really feel -- and when you see them being all macho and "hey man" around the other boys. That's a pretty good feeling. Knowing that you are their best friend but not needing to be told.

Can never ever ever feel like that with a girl friend.

Feckin love men.

That sense of divilment that men have- they're not as worried about what people think of them.

When the nice ones give your their coats if you're cold- their coats are always way cosier than anything I own.
