    I don't see any jaw dropping Torres & Carroll/Berbatov & Robinho/Masch & Tevez type bombshells.

Im still hoping my 5er placed on Modric to Chelsea @ 4/1 will still come true by midnight:pac:

Hopefully Sunderland slap a firm offer on the table for Bendtner now that they've appeared to move away from the Crouch deal. Would love to see him at the club.

Gary Cahill transfer to Spurs rated as 50/50. Im gonna guess that this will be the last transfer of the night just so Harry can appear on tv as he goes home saying "it was close, we got him registered seconds before the window closed".

I'd take Crouch any day over Bendtner. Never rated the Dane at all.

He's not muck. He did alright for Arsenal despite constantly being shunted out to the wing.

    People forget that.

Still hoping Bendtner will move somewhere. He is a much better footballer than Arsenal make him look.

dont like him as a player at all. did he really do alright for arsenal? i thought he was poor enough.

Would love to see Bendtneer move on as an Arsenal fan. Hes not a bad footballer quite good actually just not suited to Arsenals style of play or at the level to be playing for a big club but could be very decent for a lot clubs think his wage demands are probably scaring a lot of teams off.

Put it this way, I'd rather spend £10m + on a 23 year old Arsenal striker who has attracted interest from Champions League clubs this summer with something to prove than a 30 year old striker with no resale value or motivation to really leave London having rejected a move to the north-east on numerous occasions.

Bendtner is a cracking player who needs to play week in, week out.

Damn near choked on my tea at the lad on SSN in Scotland, Charles Patterson his name I think. He wasnt ready for that at all.

If Bendtner was such a cracking player he would have done well with arsenal. He thinks he is a world beater but has never shown it. He had chance after chance especially with Van Persies injuries and never took his chance. Wenger is the kind of manager who can bring out the best in players and if he could get so little out of Bendtner what chance has the tactical genius that is Bruce have

    Royston Drenthe to Everton.

Look what Wikipedia have on their website about it :D
    Wikipedia wrote:
Royston Ricky Drenthe (born 8 April 1987) is a professional footballer who was signed by Bill Kenwright on the acting transfer deadleine day. He plays the role of Nathan Detroit in Kenwrights West End adaptation of Guys and Dolls. Drenthe is a big fan of musical theatre and expressed that he was looking forward to working with Blue Bill.

10 minutes ago they had a different story about the same sigining, but in fact it was just a man named Roy Stone that got drenched on his way to Goodison.

Staff at Wikipedia are bored today :D

Maybe what Bendtner needs is a move where he is not the sub all the time. A good run as a striker for a lower team could be the making of him(I doubt it as I dont think he's that good). However the last thing I remember him doing is gettin a hattrick against Leyton Orient which is not exactly what you'd want to remember a Premier League player for.

Bendtner gets a stupidly hard time from most people. The worst striker in the premier league? Not a hope. He's a decent player who needs to work on a few things but I think he couldn't be quite successful for a team like Everton or Sunderland.

That crowd at Stoke look like something from Wrong Turn.

Don't know if it's been said already but Vicente(yes, the guy who played for Valencia who's only 30) to Brighton is apparently a real possibility.

Bendtner is well worth a risk,Wegner always threw him out on the wing, never really got a lash at it up front...be a whole lot worse out there i tell ya

When the transfer merry go round stops I think Spurs could find themselves a bit short - they signed Parker but those crazy cats at SSN are linking Crouch,Jenas, Hutton with exit - Bentley has gone, they could end up short.

Parker out for West Ham but The Wardrobe (Diop), Bentley and Henri Lansbury in. Good day so far.
