    Have no sources but as a guess I'd say it'll be somehwere like Palermo or Lazio on loan

    Well, he appears not to be very good, and City have very good players in his position, so why would it be strange?

    I would also imagine that the IT guy who runs the site would probably be one of the last to know

    That does seem to refute it though.

    He may very well move in the future but the club isn't going to take down a player's page before he has left. And that is the only basis for any rumour.

    I remember last year, Ozil had a profile on the official United page due to some bug (any player mentioned in the news article had a player-profile generated) and it sent the twitterati into overdrive.

    As you say, I doubt if Balotelli marched into Mancini's office informing him that he wants to leave, Mancini’s first reaction would be to pick up his phone and shout "get me the IT department"
