    sean wright to QPR.

from rte.ie Shaun Wright-Phillips is set to move to QPR from Man City having played just twice for City this season.
    Great signing for them.

QPR look like they will be very busy today, it certainly helps being in London.
Sunderland, Newcastle, Arsenal, Blackburn and Bolton could all do something...not to mention Spurs!

Can someone explain the 25 man squad to me , Are you stuck with these 25 players only till christmas ? Is it for the league only or all domestic games ? Can you use different players (squad ) in Europe .

Be interesting at some of the bigger clubs to see who's included and left out of these 25 man squads .They will be alot of players/talent sitting in the reserves etc

    United 29 first squad players
    City 37 at the moment
    Liverpool 38
    Chelsea 40+ :eek::eek:

We need some deadline day bingo

    - 'Arry interviewed in a car
    - Benjani at an airport
    - That lad on Sky with the phones
    - A random Brazilian in a shopping centre
    - Sneijder boarding a plane in Milan
    - Garry Cook/Brian Marwood saying City are finished spending
    - Somebody leaving Newcastle
    - Images of a player at a hospital for a medical
    - An England international moving to QPR/Sunderland for a ridiculous fee
    - A fax machine breaking down

I guess this is based on squad numbers?
    Here are the rules -

    - Clubs register a squad of up to 25 players, which must include at least eight 'home-grown' players, at the end of each transfer window.
    - Home-grown players do not have to be English; home-grown players are defined as those who "irrespective of nationality or age, have been affiliated to the FA or Welsh FA for a period of three seasons or 36 months prior to 21st birthday"
    - Clubs can supplement squad with unlimited number of players under the age of 21.

So for Liverpool, the likes of Eccleston, Sterling, Coady, Shelvey, Wisdom, Flanagan, Robinson and even new signing Coates will be included as under 21s.

Lets not forget this anual classic:

    - A player leaves training slightly early means he is certainly leaving

Pardon my ignorance of the Eircom league but who is Enda Stevens?

    From BBC:

"Enda Stevens has completed a move from Shamrock Rovers to Villa - but will not join the squad until jan to allow him to play in Europe".

Unlikely, he is in Holland for the Euro qualifiers.

    Check.

Already interviewed on his way in. I'll put the over/under at 3 total interviews today.

He really is a media whore. One of my memories of the January window was him stopping and winding down the car window before the journalists realised he was there!

He is the rovers left back. Used to play for Pats and UCD, of course lets also not forget Cherry Orchard. Very good player with great potential. Gutted he is leaving us but I'd be confident in the guy that with a good defensive coach and playing against a higher caliber of player he could develop very nicely. 350k is not enough for him!

If I was Sneijder just for the lolz I would without doubt get on a plane and fly into Manchester, can you just imagine the media frenzy it would cause!

I really dont like Harry Redknapp. He should just move his office to the front of his car, its the only place you ever see him.

I think Harry Redknapp is a legend. Extremely entertaining.

Top boy, top boy he kept saying.

Not a bad gaa player either, although we've seen a fair bit less of him in the last couple of years, understandably enough. This is the first I've heard of that, always happy to see a local lad push on. Rovers will miss him, at least they get the Europa run out of him

Gignac on his way to Fulham apparently, good signing there from Jol if it happens.

I can really see this happening knowing that his wife is the biggest attention whore with a Dutch passport.

We will indeed miss him. Our options at LB aren't great and certainly no where near Enda. While gutted he is leaving I'm delighted for the lad and wish him nothing but luck. Go make a name for yourself Enda and do us proud.

Ryan Babel's adventure at 10,000 feet a few transfer windows back will be hard to top.
