Possible gilmores groin - who to go to?

I have been having groin problems for the past 18 months. I went to see a physio a few months ago and he said I may have a gilmores groin problem. He prescribed core exercises and stretching but this has not solved the problem. I was wondering who can I go to (physio, doctor, specialist etc.) for an exact diagnosis and treatment? How do I go about getting a referral to a specialist if needed? Thanks for your help.

Thread will probably be closed as medical advice can't be given.
