    Cant believe it. An Irish team in group stages and no Scottish team left.

    First time since 1955 no Scottish team left in Europe by September 1st.

    i think most groups have 6 but a couple have only 5 due to numbers

    They're probably unseeded but it will definitely help Irish clubs progress in future years, in terms of league coefficients, by Rovers reaching the group stages .

    EL has a champions league format since 1 or 2 years.
    Groups of 4, home and away matches.

    So that will be 6 matches for Shamrock.
    Will probably cost them the LOI...?
