Argos disabled reservations yesterday. You can't reserve/stock check anything Touchpad related regardless of the instore situation.

what argos store was that? they did the same on me in sligo, gutted seein as so many argos stores around the country seem to be honouring reservation numbers

Might be better to be there at store closing time. They might give it to you if the person hasn't arrived by the time the shop is closing.

Not going to say which store yet - still arguing the toss with them.

Getting nowhere yet, but not giving up!

Got an email back from FNAC anyway to say they've confirmed a change in my billing address anyway but no further updates on the status of it.

best thing to do is download kalemsoft media player from the app store for 7 euro. Its brilliant and will play every video and audio file. And just make a music and videos folder on the touchpad when you plug it into a pc and throw your files in and they just come up. Before I got the player it didn't really play many video formats. And download box.net from the store too coz touchpad customers get a free 50gb cloud space which usually costs 20 quid a month I believe. Do it now before they stop the offer!

On that French website people have mentioned that they've received theirs or had their order status changed to sent. One guy who ordered his at 8:34pm on Monday has received his.

The FNAC official tweets said that Orders placed with information "In Stock" will be delivered . Orders that were listed as "subject to availability" only a portion will be delivered.

Personally I can't remember was it listed as "In Stock" or "subject to availabilty" when I ordered.
