Also are we 100% that there is going to be an android port that fully utilises its capabilities?
    I am seriously tempted though!

No one's 100% about anything at the moment. In theory though, it's certainly possible for it to work flawlessly.

As for buying it from Argos (Or anywhere else for that matter)... Good luck with that.

Doubt that very much. Perhaps they got 4 or 5 in but unlikely a pallet load. If anything, a pallet load will be spread across the country.

Where did you hear that? Here?

In context you'll see (or not..) that it was sarcasm.

Two pallets, only one was put out the front for sale. Second pallet is for people that didn't know about the deal and decided they want one tomorrow.

TBH i'm shocked that amazon both sides fecked up this badly on this.

there the bigges online retailer and for usa and europe to be left with 10000+ canceled orders is a disgrace.
you can understand elara/misco/dabs small fry compared to amazon.

you can understand the slow of the above site around the time the stock was live.

amazon was not slow, they lied about stock and pissed off consumers. last time i'm using them tbh.

ah well on to the next bargain, mp4nation and a nice corepad or something

reserved touchpad on monday , 32gb in Argos, from store stock

collected today at lunchtime after they rang threatening to sell it off saying I couldn't reserve it even though when I can in the morning they said it was ok to collect it until the reservation ran out on Friday. Wasn't too happy with the second call but ended up working on will and I am finally the proud owner of a cheap touchpad.

first impressions a lovely piece of kit that had potential to be very good product, some nice styling and interaction. Shame there won't be too much more development with it

hope all works well for those who didn't get one yet.

time to go search boards now for touchpad owners thread

had bought 1 on dabs on tuesday morning but no luck - still in my dabs account as processing.

sent them an email and got this reply today.
So HP/supplier - must have some stock out there.

    *******************

    Hi XXX,

Due to the high volume of orders yesterday for the Touchpads the system allowed some orders to go through after we had sold out of the items.
Fortunately though, we are sourcing stock from our supplier to fulfil the orders that we have.

    Apologies for the confusion.

    Best regards,

Very promising email - suggests there is some stock out there at the very least. Did many people preorder with Exspansys? Hopefully there is dozens of us, rather than 100s or 1000s!

What time are your preorders from? Mines 3:15pm yesterday.

Reserved Touch Pad with Argus on 21/8 - followed up with email to their HQ confirming that they will honour it.
Just received a reply ex Luke in their HQ telling me they will not be honouring it as they have no more stocks.
I'm not impressed,no I'm livid - they have one rule for one customer & another for the next. So much for honour & good faith?
