    Me too, going to get the Galaxy 10.1 tho - the Amazon cancellation has just drained the life out of me. 2 days of stress and no work done. Bloody power city were selling the galaxy for 409 at the weekend, tried to hold out for a HP and now they are gone back to 479. The joys.

    I sincerely hope that those of you with Argos reservations get them.

    Was that a 16GB one? Have to say the 10.1 is sexy cool! Feels great in the hand!

    Republic. I think the twitter is maintained by Argos UK workers. But I mentioned my reservation was in the Sligo, Rep. of Ireland branch and they still replied asking me for the reservation number to look into it.

    Worth getting in touch with them. I ordered mine yesterday morning and followed up with them today as my order still says security processing. Here's what they said:

    Yeah the 16GB - Completely gutted now that I waited, 70 euro is 70 euro...hindsight is also the greatest invention ever :D

    I don't see the point..

    .. FNAC have said they'll keep customers updated.

    What do you learn from here that you won't already learn from your order status, or contacting the company directly? This thread has turned HUGELY cynical and hate-filled over the last 24 hours and I'm personally sick of it.

    I was guaranteed that my unit will be in tomorrow, I'll be a happy chappy once it comes in. Have a few things I need to pick up too so they'll make a good few quid on tomorrow's visit, all going well.

    I don't mind spending in stores that look after me and deliver on promises. But if the feck me over I'll keep them busy for a few weeks by reserving out of stock items for collection and just won't bother collecting them. ;)

    I agree, Basq, but please don't lock it.

    Its still useful for the chances of getting one from the remaining possibilities i.e. Argos, FNAC and Expansys.

    Well guys I am one of the lucky ones, got my reservation in Argos earlier today. Delighted. As for people who have reservations and are worried it will go, so long as its in date, they cant be cancelled by staff. Whoever cancels it will have all there info up on screen, user ID, time etc. and will have a lot to answer by management for if found they canceled it for themselves or someone else. Make sure to kick up a fuss if it happens.

    In short, if your have an Argos res, your good to-go. Amazon orders are gonzo and FNAC who knows.

    Did it say that when you ordered? I think it was availalble when i ordered but I cant be sure...

    Just have to wait and see.There are Touchpads still out there,thats why the likes of expansys are trying to get their share.

    I think it was saying that when I started the order process at around 8:45. Unfortunately the site slowed to a crawl and I only got my order completed at 9:15. God knows what it was saying then :D
