The reservation I have is for collection today though, it was in stock when reserved.

Just onto the 3 Argos shops in Cork.
None in stock. Didn't ask about reservations 'cause I don't have one!

One of the girls I was talking to said they're expecting more stock in the middle of September, which pretty much ties in with what Donnacha said above.

I went in this morning with a reservation and was told it was cancelled last night at close of business, they also had none in stock.

edit: forget to add, my reservation was from today till Saturday.

Mine was for today in Jervis St. One on the phone said you can't reserve this product and we are cancelling your reservation code. Starting to get suspicious now...

Rang Argos Liffey Valley and told item wasn't available to collect as hadn't come in from Warehouse and to check again tomorrow or Monday. That's for a 32 GB model

Argos'ers, can you please state whether your reservation was on existing stock, ready for collection immediately (albeit at full price..) or based on a future delivery?

It appears that the future delivery reservations are being dropped, but want to confirm. Thanks.

Was just in Argos Athlone , The Manager spent 5 mins checking every store in Ireland North & South and Warehouse and it was a big 0 everywhere, I was looking at the screen and it was clear there are none available , Even the warehouses in the UK are empty

I popped into Argos Blanch, no go (surprise surprise)

Imagine Argos roll out 1,000's of them on Sept 11th....we'll all look back at the time and effort put in to all of this...and realise how MENTAL we all are

It's been fun though, I've never felt this kind of excitement over a product which is going end of live. It's :eek:

This won't really be of much assistance to people keen to get their hands on one of these, but just to let you know that Argos definitely do not have any for sale to people who walk in off the street.

I am just back from Argos Cavan, I was there before it opened, they have none in stock and the very helpful lady checked all of the other Argos stores in ROI and NI and there are absolutely none showing as 'in stock' anywhere.

Hopefully you guys with the reservations will be lucky, I wish that I'd been in time for that!

You can't reserve one either as you can't reserve something that is not in stock.

Hope this stops someone making an unnecessary journey and ending up disappointed like me.

I'm getting to the end of my tether on this, 3 days of online frustration!
