People would have just registered several times with different details. Maybe it wouldn't have crashed their servers but it definitely wouldn't have been any fairer.

After talking to FNAC they seem confident that theyll fufill the order, same with amazon, dunno about argos, i bought on FNAC circa 8.20pm last night, amazon at 12.08am

It was hard work but secured one off Elara.

So I have an orders with Amazon, Dabs, Elara and Argos but will not be happy until I have one in my hand. Will come back if I end up with a surplus but have already promised some of the tablets (that I don't have) to boardsies already.

Did you actually managed to talk to anyone in FNAC? I managed to order one yesterday but the order status is same since morning.

Fair play to you if you managed to order some. Some of the boardies will be happy with your effort if then managed to get any surplus from you...

Mine hasn't changed since 9.00 for FNAC 12.20 for Amazon since last night.

Amazon say they will email when they have dispatched, hard to say really?

I's say it might of been my provider.. I'm not with a mainstream ISP (local BB scheme with esb fibre) so probably wasn't competing with all the connections.
