I don't see what the big rush on these is. There's been so many bought up that there's bound to be an absolute ton of them being resold in the next couple of weeks. Once people see that they can't sell them for double the price you'll be able to pick these up for near to cost price.

Don't forget these things will be redundant unless you're able to change the OS to an Android based system. Advice to everyone is to stop wasting your time looking!

Yeah I heard a rumour that the price drop is going to happen at 6.

I haven't been keeping up with the thread. So is one of these really worth the money? Are they good? Will everyone be rooting them with Android os?

Regardless of it getting Android or not, it's a very decent tablet for that price.
Sure you won't get the games etc. you do on the iOS App store, but you can surf the web handily enough,
read your books, have a mess with your photos etc. It's a super deal.

With an install base that is now near 1.5 million I would be suprised if webos is sent out to pasture. The demand for apps is suddenly there.
Also, Apples results for this quarter are going to take a hammering!

This whole debacle is hilarious, and a little lesson for HP - clearly all that was wrong was the pricepoint! The android OS will make a difference, but had HP sold them in this quantity, I'd say the WebOS apps would have taken off.. I wonder if there has been a dip in Galaxy tab/iPad sales since the announcement of the price drop?

Redundant depends on what your going to be using it for! If checking emails and just general web browsing then their far from redundant! Someones bitter!

I@ve just been on the phone to Misco and was talking to a guy there. He says that he can't confirm anything as he truly doesn't know but he can't see the price dropping before 5pm, because any orders taken before 5pm have to be guaranteed next day delivery and he can't see that happening with the orders they're expecting.
