Makes sense considering they just pulled it off the site - Did he say online or actual physical inventory? I called into 3 CPW's yesterday and none in stock, also, their webiste said no stock in any store, only online.

Called Carphone warehouse yesterday, stock available yes no problems. Dropped in this morning (sorry no stock all gone)

Which is made up rubbish. The Twitter says they have reduced price today.

Anybody going to chance buying it online at fullprice and then if the price doesn't drop, to return it within 7 working days for a full refund?

Got a list of every HP retailer in Leinster. (Just google 'HP Leinster' and you'll find the PDF).

Rang em all. Every single one. Not a touchpad to be found. The main "problem", if you like, is that most retailers (rightly, at the time) predicted they wouldn't sell bugger all at full price, and so had very very low inventories. Made sense at the time... unfortunately, now, it means we're all chasing a couple of dozen units!

Madness indeed. If you want to buy from a reseller, wait a few days until people receive their orders. Wheres the rush?

Most people who ordered more than one will keep one or two for themselves and family and try to dump the rest - the re-sellers market is going to be flooded and to compete with each other prices hopefully wont be much higher than cost.

Yeah, if you're going to get one from ebay, it'd be best to wait until at least a week after the sale when things have calmed down.

I'm following your logic and giving up for the while, then looking at ebay in a week. It's going to be completely flooded - these things were never selling in the first place, and Android or not, they're still not most people's cup of tea. Right now, when most resellers havent even got theirs yet, and people are still excited/spent the last 48 hours hitting F5 and drinking coffee and just want it to end is the worst time since the drop to buy one.
