    Not true, I was in there yesterday and one of the PC World guys told me there was only 2 in stock and one on display - although he could have been saying that.

    Why would anyone pay 5 times the price of something that probably didnt want 12 hours previously, more than likely staff were giving those 5 a good home!

    well that's what i was told.
    found it very strange that 5 people would pay full price yesterday for something they could get today for 100 euro but there ye go....

    Just checked my Amazon account and it says that my Touchpad will be dispatched 25 August. I had the vague email last night about delivery dates but they must be firming up on stock levels.

    For those that got in last night, check your account on the website rather than relying on emails...

    I assume some people bought them yesterday in the hope of getting a refund from HP.. some of those people even posted up here saying they were doing it... remember, no retailer is obliged to offer refund or return on an item just because you can buy it cheaper elsewhere...

    Yes but you have 7 days to return the item no quibbles so its not a big deal tbh.
