Tomorrow morning, any currys & pc worlds that have stock will be selling them on a first come first serve basis at the reducted prices. Shops with stock will be listed on this thread after four today I think http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056319116&page=11

    Hazro 27" 8bit Super IPS Monitor - ~€455 @ OCUK

The 8bit models have less lag, the pricier 10bit panels have wide colour palettes (although as this is scaled up from 8bit video output it may introduce lag). All models have a 6ms GTG refresh.
    - Only available to customers in the United Kingdom

    :(

Just ordered one of these these for my sons pc,€140 inc shipping, seems a pretty good deal to me.

    http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-034-BQ

    £5 cheaper from amazon delivered.

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/BenQ-G2222HDL-21-5-inch-Widescreen-Back-Light/dp/B002UJ31A0/

They're good monitors although the colours could be a little better.

Crucial are doing a UK-only promo for refurbished C300 SSDs, looks like a bargain to me.

    64GB - £46.08
    128GB - £92.16
    256GB - £184.32

seems like it's not UK only, my order just shipped :D

So you selected 'Ireland' where the checkout asks for delivery address and it went through?

That sale will resume at 3pm today, as it has each day this week.

If the HP Microserver deal is extended, I'm thinking of buying one and putting a low profile GPU in it.

    Not really sure why :/

Nope, they're out of stock for all except the 256GB model, which is a bit above my price range :o

Oh, sorry, thought you had misread the promotion page.

    8Gb (2x4Gb) Corsair DDR3 1600MHz £44.48 on Amazon.

Not the fastest DDR3 around but good value if this is what you need. Free super saver delivery too.

Not a great deal. You could do better with memoryc.

Agreed & removed the original post. The Geil RAM is the closest comparison as the other two are slightly slower but that is a great price, can't believe I missed it. Memoryc are great to deal with, free delivery and they are Irish - so definitely the better option. Cheers.

Ones with huge heatspreaders, like the Geil and the Corsair Vengence are probably going for cheap because they can't get rid of them!
The colour of the Geil might be an influence too. It might look well with a black motherboard though.

The RAM speeds makes very little difference with Intel. Really only worth forking out a bit extra if it's an AMD system.

Picked up 2 of these today - €115 a pop for a 24" monitor can't be sneezed at. Have seen one of these in action at a friend's house and it's a really good monitor if you're not stressed about it not being a big name brand.

Iiyama is a good brand and €115 is a great price. its £161 on amazon.

debating this myself even though im flat broke :o
