Odd that HN are jumping on this but nowhere else is
Im guessing places like Argos and PC World will have to do the same now, cant see how they can charge more than HN did for them. Not good business. It looks like the HP Ireland website will start selling them at this price also soon, as the german website is selling at €99.

I wouldn't go driving for miles to a HN in the hope of getting one, as I have a feeling most other places will do the same as HN over the next few days.

I rang Carrickmines and spoke to the manager, said that all 16 were gone and only 32 were left, looks like they are all gone at this stage from there judging by posts since then.

Although HN appear to be sold out in Dublin and in other areas in the country, does anyone know if they sold out at €99 and €129 for the 16 GB and 32 GB respectively? While I can't imagine people buying them all at their RRP, they seem to have sold out very quickly.

They did have both the 16 gig and 32 gig version?
How much are they selling for?

    Thanks

If the Harvey Norman stories are true then they are way ahead of the game. All the other retailers must be sitting around twiddling their thumbs.

I got 16GB for €99. Some friends from the office have headed over to see what the story is - they'll be back in a few mins.

Just back from Harvey Norman Cork, got a 32gb for 129. Flying out the door down there, one guy in front of me and after that there was a stream of people coming in looking for them. I'm a happy camper anyway!

I picked up a 32gb one for €129 in Harvey Norman, Kinsale Rd about 20mins ago. They had 16x32gb and 8x16gb left at that stage and they took 3 phone calls about it in the space of time I was there! Get them quick, they won't last long. Only one sold per customer, I don't think they are allowing reservations.

They are true. I rang HN Naas a while ago and they had a few in stock for the discounted price, dont think I can travel that far though, as im sure other stores closer to me will have them for the same price in a few days. Cant imagine they lasted long there though. Surely other stores and online sites will start discounting the price soon also.
