Sorry about not getting back about 'Colour of Love'
To make up for it try 'Bran Castle' E/W, Cork 7.20, he's 12-1 and the money is pouring on.

    Downpatrick 5.15 this evening....
Word from Eoin Griffin's yard is that 'Fairview Star' is off big style... get him at 2's or 9/4 at the minute... Flopped last day out in a bumper in roscommon but impressed with a 2nd place in Kilbeggan int he previous race.

I was on this last time out where there was strong support, and was pulled out of the race as a result of a stone bruise.

Massive money for it again today, I'm on since this morning. Obvious they are confident.

    Heres hoping!

I also got word for Bridgets pet in the bumper in Bellewstown, 7/1, good ew bet

Yeah, I got it at 8s earlier today. Was 5s the last time I checked. Opened at 12s I think.

Hopefully runs a good race and I at least get a sweat!

Jockey should be fired! Dead Heat. Really should have won that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,675 ✭✭✭bassy

does a dead heat mean that bothe a horse called molly and
    cerveza both win ?

    Dead heat, some disaster!

Although better than being beat by short head, also drifted out to 7/1 so its not too bad really, lost out on small bit of profit.

Dead heat means your stake is divided by 2. So yes both Cerveza and Ahorsecalledmolly won

No gentleman, most bookies pay full stake dead heat

I had €25 win online with PP and got paid €100, @7/1

Have another €10 in shop with Hacketts, so I'l let ya know what they pay tomorrow.

I've got stung on DH's few times, never got paid full whack

That was nice. Just scrolled through the results and assumed it was 2nd. Never spotted the =sign until I checked my balance. Cheers Moscow B-)

I was sure PP do full stake. Perhaps that's just in shops.

Right so I collected off Hacketts, I can't really understand what maths they done to pay me.

    I had €10 win on @4/1

    Horse dead heated @7/1

    They paid me €50????

Anyone shed any light on this?

Maybe they pay full stake on dead heats but don't do GP?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,408 ✭✭✭ft9

    They paid you full whack then, 10 @ 4-1 + your 10.

    OK I just rang them.

Board prices are guaranteed, early prices are not, which is a joke!

Dead heats they pay your stake divided by amount of winners, like most bookies.

So it looks like she just fcuked up and paid me €50 rather than €40 which I should have got

I'd go back in and check the walls to see if they have a sign saying dead heats full odds paid.

they might owe you another €30

No Robbie I just rang them, they don't pay out in full

Edit; I took an early price which they do not guarantee, so I should have been paid the following

    Half my stake €5 x 4/1 = €20 + €5stake back = €25

I got €50, so should be happy I suppose
