Nero/CloneCD not working with WinXP

After much knashing of teeth I have finally just changed over to WinXP. Have to say I'm suprised at how much I like it. But, I cannot get Nero or CloneCD to work with it. After much knashing of teeth I have finally just changed over to WinXP.
Have to say I'm suprised at how much I like it.
But, I cannot get Nero or CloneCD to work with it.
The problem is not that it won't load, but it does not see my CD writer.
This has something to do with an ASPI driver (as CloneCD tells me), so I went to adaptec.com and downloaded an ASPI driver for XP but it still does not work.

Any ideas?

Incidentally, I can use Media Player to write audio CDs, but I want more damnit!

Hi Samson,

If this didn't work for you, try Nero's own ASPI driver..
It solved my problems (albeit on Win2K).

you can find the DLL here.

You need to save it locally and copy it into the %windir%\System32 folder or to your application directory.
