Kildare 8/13 seems ridic short to me.

Where did you get those odds?

Cork to score first goal and win the match
    €20 @ evens

Looks like a good value bet to me.

Any views on the minor games? Odds are a lot more reasonable. 3 games too short in senior and immovable object meets unstoppable force in other game.

    Have gone for Mayo/Draw @ 7/2 and small Ros/Mayo double @32/1:pac:

Loads of bets that I really like this week, will post them later when I get time..

    Picked out a couple
Either team to win by 1 to 4 or draw at 1/2 in Kildare/Donegal game. - may be a bit short but I expect it to come in.
    Under 30.5 in Kildare/Donegal 5/6.
    Over 1.5 goals in Kerry/Limerick 4/9
Nicholas Murphy under 1.5 points 4/6 - especially like this one

    Thoughts???

Almost forgot.....Declan O Sullivan 6/1 for footballer of the year.Need I say no more.;)

I've just put €20 on this. A class act and a media/pundit favourite. A good game against limerick and a win against cork is needed though. Good value bet.

The Nicholos Murphy bet there looks like a goer for me. Can't see him staying full forward and even if he did I can't see him scoring 2pts. I'll wait to see how I get on today before placing any bets on tomorrow's games.

Bet 1: Roscommon @4/5 v Armagh (minors). Really strong ros team who've already comprehensively defeated both mayo and galway in championship. Armagh failed to score against cavan in the 2nd half and although they're strong on paper i feel ros will take this if they can nullify armagh's dangerman who plays full-forward.

Bet 2: D.Shine under 5.5pts @8/11. Tyrone wont give him as much room as mayo did and they're a team who did cough up handy frees.

Bet 3: C.Cregg over 1.5pts @6/5. Really expect this lad to have a big game for ros today. His running power and a sight for goal makes this bet look good to me today.

Bet 4: Kildare(-2) @6/5. I know Donegal have improved 10 fold in the past year or two but this kildare team seem to be a machine especially in the 2nd half of games. I'd advise waiting for an in-play bet in this but seeing as i'm goin to croker i wont have the chance so gonna take it now.

    Happy punting!

Kildare score 1st goal and win match 7/4

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,051 ✭✭✭keysersoze0330

Haven't a clue what to do today. Liking the Cork to score first goal and win.
Was gonna back Kerry in the handicap but its 9pts. Bit too much. Maybe Limerick +10 @8/11 with Boyles? It could be a cricket score or Kerry could win by a few.

Cant see an upset in either game

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,864 ✭✭✭glanman

    limerick +9.5pts on bet 365, 5/6.

Can't see limerick getting destroyed again this time round, all went right for Kerry the first day, all wrong for limerick the next. Limerick much stronger now, more games under their belt, players fitter and had 4 games now. The beat a good wexford team, should have hammered waterford only for conditions. they will battle all the way and also playing in croke park will be big for them. Kerry are already thinking about cork so all this adds up for me that it will be closer than the bookies think.

Kerry haven't played for a few weeks, plus limerick have only ever beaten twice for 22 years. the odds are not the best, think the bookies have it spot on, not too sure what to do either - unless go for a goal scorer or something - any ideas?

Yeah you could be right. Over 1.5 goals in both games pays out just over even money

after what happened with Kildare yesterday, ive put 200e on Cork and Kerry winning today, cant see an upset in either match, knew the Donegal and Kildare match would be close whatever happened, I guess you win some and lose some

For me today i think the Cork / Mayo game will cover the points total of over 33.5 @ 10/11 with PP, I also like Kerrigan to net a goal anytime @ 11/4 PP - He has hit 3 points in last 2 games and has been very unlucky for goals in both those games. Another bet i did today was both matches over 2.5 goals @ 4.5/1, Kerry should have had 3/4 goals against Limerick last time out but took points instead and i think there are plenty of gaols in the cork game. Gonna put a small bet too on Kerry over 2.5 goals and 3.5 goals 13/8 and 7/2 with Ladbrooks

    Heres hoping for goals galore:D:D

€20 on cooper MoM @9/2 and €5 on Donaghy MoM @10/1. I expect a big game from both of these lads today.

Will go for Murphy under 1.5pts in the cork game @4/6

you really need to stop talking about free money :pac:

Feck Cork anyway - coupon buster!!! :( i thought the over was a cert at half time with 20points in the bag, plus kerry and Limerick should have both scored more than the 1 measley goal:mad:, well at least Cork are gone now :D

Dublin at 10/11 has to be a great price this weekend.

Tyrone old team who I think have flattered in recent weeks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,798 ✭✭✭✭keane2097

I don't think that's great value at all.

Dublin don't function when Bernard Brogan doesn't play well - the Leinster final against a pretty weak Wexford showed that.

They're coming up against a team coached by the most tactically astute man in the game who happens to have some really good backs at his disposal as well.

Harte will have a plan to stifle Brogan, and if it works Dublin are sunk. Even if it doesn't they still have potentially enough to get over Dublin with Sean Cavanagh playing the way he did against Roscommon.

It's an interesting game, I wouldn't be very confident from a Dublin POV at all.

got sunk with Cork, guess brolly was right in hindsight. everyone that said mayo were spot on fair play to ya. lookin at the fixtures this weekend, dublin not too confident, kilkenny and tipperary could be worth a pun, any suggestions, as the predictions are getting tougher...

11/4 on the Glen seems good. They got to the final last year, have an easy game next, have the best player in the county and half their team is training full time (supposedly)

Darren O'Sullivan 4/1 to be footballer of the year. Could be worth lumping on. Word is he'll be go to go in the semi-final
