Hard drive recommendations

Lads

I am thinking of upgrading the HD in my MBP (early '08). I currently only have 200gb of space. Anyone got any recommendations? Probably will go for a minimum of 750gb and hopefully 7200 rpm.

I'll probably double the ram to 4gb. Crucial will sort that for €33

Samsung/Western digital/Seagate/Hitachi. My opinion starting from most reccomended (Samsung) to least reccomended (Hitachi). Samsung & Western Digital I would reccomend choosing over the others, Seagate make some very relyable drives but have had quality control issues lately, also look at www.memoryc.ie for RAM and buying the hard drive, I've used them several times before and they are relyable, based in Naas, no affiliation with the company just used them before and found them to be good value

thanks Nick. Anyone got any specific drive recommendations? I've had a look on Amazon and can only see 5400 rpm drives in the 2.5" section.

Western Digital Black. Do not touch Hitachi or Fujitsu.
