Embarrassing question but I really have not been able to do this.

How do you remove this connector?

    SFF_8087

I have one in my Proliant Microserver and want to take out the system board to upgrade the memory. The cable is very short and I can only just reach the connector. I have used quite a lot of force but it won't give. Do I need to push in the metal bit on the side? Or can I just pull? I am really afraid to break something.

    Thanks

Push down/pinch on the metal section of the connector and pull away.
