is it possible to defer 2nd year?

    I've checked out the NUIM website but can't find out any info on how to defer 2nd year. Is it possible to defer for financial reasons? Is it a difficult process and is there a deadline as to when you apply for the deferral? Any info would be great, thanks!

    Get yourself in to the Academic advisory office :)

    I was in there last week asking the same thing but about 4th year and they said there's no problem and that all you need to do is to email the records office saying you won't be back so that they won't register you and that I can decide the night before college starts back if needs be. If I were you though I'd email and ask or even better call in to them and talk face to face :)

    I'm considering it more for personal reasons but the thoughts of deferring at all are definitely really crappy!
