    anyone use Astonenergy in a reseed mix
    whats it like, i was told it can leave a very open sward

    yea i used it with abermagic in a 60:40 mix thats 60 tetra 40 dip, it's sowed on 22 acres of very dry land used for grazing by dairy cows, like all new reseeds it's very agressive and it's leaf is noticeably wider than other varieties, it's deffinetly better than Bealey for ground cover but if sowing on it's own it will need extra attention to keep it grazed and try to avoid cutting it for silage.

    thanks for that, i have used abermagic last year and was impressed with it, i heard a lot of the seed varieties have got tight this year going doing a bit the end of the month
