Hi,

From now one this will be our dedicated thread for any news or announcements we have from FightIreland. We would like to thank anybody who has visited the site so far and a also big thank you for all the kind words and encouragement.

We are not affiliated with any clubs or promotions but prefer to be seen as a partner to them all

Been a while - all sorts of fun and not fun happening the last while but back in action! I'll be at K1 Pain and Glory tonight as I cant get up to Belfast for Cage Contender. If anybody is heading let me know.

Just a small error in the re. Gunnar's fight;

Gunnar answered the bell on his hunkers and methodically began feeling out his opponent, some jabs were exchanged before a trip lead to Nelson landing in Butenko's guard.

It was actually a hip throw called an 'Uchi mata' and a text book perfect one at that. Here's a photo of it from FB.

Would you believe when I watched the fight report from the Icelandic Tv station I said whoops got that wrong. Cheers for that will edit it soon as.
