I am a size 12 but when I try on Karen Millen Dresses I always have to go up to a size 14 does this happen to anyone else? Are her sizes different?

    Thanks.

I find Karen Millen sizing runs a little small alright. I'm kind of between two sizes usually and in there I always just go for the bigger size.

They're not cut at all for larger breast sizes. I've tried on size 16s that won't close over my breasts, but are literally billowing off me in other areas.

I find a 12 fits fine, but I'm not particularly busty.

I find that when I purchase the larger size they can be a bit big around the bust area - oh well will just have to find a good tailor !

They're very narrow across the back and shoulders I find.

Yes I need to size up in Karen Millen-have two dresses from there that are a 12 but measured them against an oasis size 10 dress and they were actually smaller. they are really narrow fitting as well round the shoulders I find too

Hi OP I'm the same as you, usually a 12 but go up to a 14. Glad I'm not the only one! I think it's all in the boobs though, I'm a 34DD.

I love a lot of Karen Millen dresses but they tend to be made for very slender body types, ime. If I go up a size (or even two) they often still don't fit around my breasts but are billowy around my waist and hips.
