    I'm writing a 15000 word thesis and have some technical questions, hopefully someone can help:

    - how many words or pages should be devoted to the literature review?
    - how many words/pages should be devoted to research design?
    - are there any other routine sections like these that I need to include?
    - what about the conclusion, how long would this usually be?

    Honestly, the best person to ask those questions of would be your supervisor or your course director. Answers are going to vary between disciplines and universities anyway.
