    Cheapest of the cheap hacking. You could learn to do it within an hour or two. Basically it is an attack on a website that floods the given website with endless traffic.

    Endless traffic means the whole system of a website messes up, bringing the whole website to it's knees.

    If you've been watching the news (RTÉ doesn't count...ever), you may have heard of Anonymous and LulzSec(to a lesser degree) , who abused this method to attack many websites to their own ends.

    Simple really...!;)

    Though for someone to even suggest doing it is foolish.

    He "suggested" it. He was probably messing and didn't realise it would be taken seriously.

    I doubt he made a threat or anything.

    YOU could do it if you were willing to download a program and be willing to read a paragraph or two.

    Well he did seem to know...Too much... About technology related stuff, so I'd say he knew something about it.

    My knowledge on stuff like this stretches as far as a definition and stuff from movies.

    I am not too sure, though I know the UK has stict policies on it, where it can land you in prison. Not too sure about Ireland tbh!
