    Hi all,
Just found another possible enclosure but needs to be looked at by someone with more information than I have access to.
Here are the co-ordinates "53.311673,-6.618512" from Google Maps.

If anybody knows about this can you post info up.

    Cheers.

It is a ringfort (rath) which has been recorded by the National Monuments Service. The record number is KD014-014. The archaeology.ie website is still down but you can check the record here on the temporary site.

There must be hundreds of Amateur Desktop Archaeology Spotters - "ADAS" (I must confess to being an Adas too) since the advent of Google Earth ;)

    Yeah, I am 1.

Technology has helped in a lot of ways, Ive made 1 discovery that had no record so reported it to DOE Archeologists and still waiting for reults.
Lots of things to see on Google Maps wonder why DOE and Trinity don't have people already doing this.

    Cheers.
