    The two brands I've found best are Siemens and Panasonic.

    Don't buy own-brand or unheard of DECT phones! They're invariably rubbish.

    Must agree with solair, the Gigaset and BT phones are good. I had a BT cordless phone for 4 years and very happy with that then!

    Hi,
    The Siemens Gigaset base station is very sensitive to fluctuations in the mains. Avoid.
