Just wondering roughly how long it takes to drive from Blessington to Dublin city centre at rush hour? Where are the main hold ups likely to be, or does it vary? Thanks.

You're going the right way - all the traffic is heading the other direction.... unless you're not talking about drivetime in the evenings. If mornings, avoid Terenure like the plague, head via Firhouse - down Bohernabreena, turn at Brittas there - and into the back of Rathfarnham.
