Irish Times Simplex crossword - please help solve!

There seems to be a contradiction in today's Simplex crossword no 14420 despite calling the premium rate number fir the solution. 7 down is magazine and 13 across is absentee. These two words cross so absentee would have to be spelled absentie for it to fit. Has anyone had the same problem?
