Anyone on here read the new SAFC fanzine 73 ? If so what do you think of it.

Larsson's in for a medical today. The Westwood deal is done, and the Ji-Dong deal is almost done too!

£10 mill bid gone in for Conor Whickham ?

    Would be a great signing.

Liverpool look to be the main competitors but rumour has it they're moving for a young French striker from Brest for £7m so it would be excellent if we could pull this off.

I haven't seen much of him bar the odd championship highlights on BBC & youtube clips which can make any player stand out, do you think he can make a spot into the 1st team next season?

I know he's more of a target man and his goal ratio isn't superb but at only 18, 10mill is a big chunk of the kitty

Two deals confirmed on SAFC, Larssons and Westwoods, very happy with that

Have any of you seen this article that tears Alan Nixon, the man who wrote the lies about us emailing clubs saying Gyan's available, to bits. Cracking read:

Brilliant stuff. I really hope the man himself reads it :pac:

Have you seen much of Ji-Dong on youtube ?

Yeah just the odd few videos, he looks decent, although YouTube makes Daryl Murphy look good :pac:

If nothing else we'll make our money back on him through shirt sales in Asia, and if he turns out to be capable like Lee and Park then great :)

Remember the videos that Reidy and Sacko are supposed to have watched of Milton Nunez

Didn know there was a SOL in Miami?!?

    link?

No chance IMO. He's in Miami AFAIK. I still don't think we'll get him like. Neither will Newcastle or Everton though unless he drops his £60,000 a week wage demands.

Looks like Craig Gardner is on his way to SAFC would be a good signing.

5million is good mate, scored a nice handful of goals last season, something we could do with.

Any latest on the Utd trio?

Yeah I'd be happy with that for anything at £5m or under.

Gone very quiet on the three Man U players front.

Bruce met with their representatives in Portugal. The agents were happy with what we were proposing and personal terms were sorted back in England with the appropriate people.

All we can do now is wait and see who they choose, but we've matched whatever financial demands their agents were asking for.

If we do lose all 3 players I am delighted they will be going to SAFC under Brucie. A decent club striving to go in the right direction. Hope to see them in the Europa League in the not too distant future.

    Thanks :)

Personally I think we'll get Gibson but I can see the other two preferring to go elsewhere. O'Shea would be an amazing signing for us though. He'd be given the captains armband straight away!

I think it would be a good move for Wes. O'Shea probably wants CL football but he ain't gonna get it outside of OT. Maybe the Irish connection will be enough for him to go there. I think Gibson could excel there tbh and I am very excited to see what he will be like with some regular football.

I might be a bit optimistic but I think he will be fighting for the No.1 jersey at Sunderland.

Westwood will be our #1 goalkeeper next season! Gordon will be off and Mignolet second choice.

Preston have made a bid for Trevor Carson.

I agree with that provided KW has fully recovered from his injury.

Gordon to Arsenal discussions are ongoing and at an advanced stage. Fee will be very low (around £1.5m) and deal is expected to go through.

Also, it looks like Riveros will sign for Kayserispor.
