    Not sure if this is the correct forum- Online free movie sites-can anyone recommend one? And are they actually free? Whats the catch?

    There are very few legal online movie sites that are free. The ones that are like Hulu [which is region locked] are funded by ads and also the fact that it is owned by an assortment of studios like Disney, NBC etc so they are showing their own content.

    This thread can only go one direction.

    There are no 'legally free' movie sites out there to my knowledge. A handful of legal freebies on the likes of archive.org and mubi.com and ad sites like Hulu (not available here) or 4oD (very few films). That's about all you're going to get.
