    Hi guys, bit of an update.

    the venue is booked etc and everything is sorted for saturday night.

    However, ill be working in cavan and i wont be able to make it.

    So, vanyd/columC is going to run the show for the night, arrange the tournaments etc.

    I bought some items for prizes, but i wont be able to bring them up, so ill hold onto them for the next tournament.

    there will be cash prizes this time however. and since funky and khazidea cant make it, it looks like it could be very interesting to see who wins!

    Ill be here all week, so if anyone has any questions, please dont hesitate to ask.

    I'd say 1st and 2nd place get a prize, maybe 3rd, if 30 people show up, then the pool will be €150, how about
    1st €90
    2nd €45
    3rd €15

    Seems like too much for second though, maybe 100/35/15?

    BUT if there are already 30 signed up, plus i know 2 more of my friends who are coming and havent posted here yet im sure there will be more

    100/40/20 in 1v1 and some to a FFA winner maybe? 20/40, if that many people come

    i think in irc he said something like a tenner each for whoever wins the 4v4 and the rest split between 1st and 2nd of the 1v1, but i don't think anything's confirmed yet..

    ok, an update on the prizes.

    since its €15 per player to attend, and we pay XGC €10, that leaves €5 per player for prizes.

    going on the numbers we have, lets say 30 people attend.
    that leaves us with €150 for prizes.

    I reckon we should do this.

    4v4 competition.
    €10 per player for the winning team. this can either be a monobattle competition, or just regular straight up sc2. the last lan we had a monobattle, and it went very well, lots of fun, and those who participated really enjoyed it.

    1v1
    €70 for the winner
    €30 for 2nd place
    €10 for 3rd place

    Perhaps €70 for 1st
    €25 for 2nd
    €15 for 3rd

    at least that way, 3rd place gets the price of the attending covered?
