Your average person doing HL maths found paper one very very hard. Myself included (but I think I scrapped a D overall).

    I genuinely think I failed :(
If I did, does anyone know how I could get around that? Resitting maths next year would involve having to do the Project Maths course, wouldn't it?

Where do you want to go next year and what do you want to do?

The examiner will make very effort to ensure you pass. That's not to say it's guaranteed, though.

Well originally I wanted Psychology in Trinity-Not gonna happen now!

So now I'm going for Communication Studies in DCU. Thats about 445 points I think. I do pass Irish and Accounting (All the rest were honours), so I was kinda relying on the Maths for points, though I'd be happy just to pass at this stage!
I think I did quite well in German, English, Irish and not too bad in Biology, but Chemistry is gonna be a struggle. :(
Can anyone shine any bit of light on my situation? :(

If you go for DIT, NUIG, CIT, UL or any other college with a special entrance exam for maths you should be okay. Unfortunatly I don't think DCU have one.

Have my heart set on that course now though :(
    Especially since I can't get psychology :(

If the course is in any way mathematical (e.g. it requires a C in higher maths) then DCU almost definitely have a special entrance exam.

Are you sure, I always thought they didn't do one.
