I downloaded the demo and it sounds pretty good. NOt there yet though.
I have an analogue mixer connected to my PC with the group stereo outputs going to soundcard input and soundcard outputs are going back into the stereo line level input channel on my mixer.
My guitar is connected into the 1/4 inch line input channel 1
Have I connected up properly? The mixer is a MG124CX yamaha

Used GR for ages, but now much prefer the Fender bit of Amplitube, mixed with Recabinet 3.

btw: A lot of the sound is gonna come from how yer getting the guitar into and out of yer PC (soundcard, AD/DA, preamp, etc.).

I'd recommend purchasing a USB audio interface. They are cheap and all you got to do it plug it in and plug your guitar in.

I use GR 4 with a Saffire 6 USB interface through yamaha hs 50's.

    Sounds fantastic.

I rarely turn on my guitar amp these days because of it

So you just connect the guitar to the interface and feed the monitors from the usb also? Then there is an O/P to go to the soundcard?

Monitors get fed from the lieouts on the back that you can see here. http://www.focusrite.com/products/audio_interfaces/saffire_6_usb/

There is no output to the sound card of the computer as the saffire and other usb soundcards replace the inbuilt ones.
