A battle to find the best player of black ops is being held today and can be seen live at

Some big Youtube names playing in it prizemoney $2,000 for the winner.

Should be interesting, not that they're the best on youtube. Woody's gonna get bummed. Some of the players are really beastly tho so should be fun.

It seems Wings of Redemption ran away chicken from the event. I hope the SandyRavage wins, but this could show up a lot of the commentators. Most of them are great players and when there is prize money at stake it makes it more interesting.

There going to be about an hour warm up before the competition starts. Xjaws has a video about it as well.

Some I hope get flattened and some I hope do well, but I can see the streaming site going down, they all do with events like these.

Theres a good few others that aren't in it, for starters its only the US commentators and at that its only the "Known" US commentators. I would have liked to seen some of the MLG players that post youtube vids. I dont think seananners would stand a chance in fairness.

With it being FFA the only people it would really show up is the likes of sandy who pretty much plays FFA and GW exclusively. It should be good craic tho.

What time does it start? Should be pretty fun, but FFA doesn't proove much imo.

Agree with Magill too. So many people who post competitive gameplays on youtube but don't seem to get the recognition.

I'm gonna watch it, but like the others said, it doesn't count for anything. If it did, then xCal, Socrates etc would have to be playing, along with MLG players.

Meh, doesnt prove anything tbh, people who are good at FFA may suck at Domination or HQ and vice versa, if it was a range of gamemodes it'd be better. No wonder Wings bailed, no spawn trapping and teammates doing all the hard work on FFA for him to camp to :pac:

Theres not such thing as a "best" player anyway, people can get lucky and have great games then suck ass on the next match, we've all been there.

They're just doing domination and it's lagging loads, wouldn't even bother waiting for it. They should have used Justin as it could at least take the numbers rather than having the disaster it currently is.

Agreed. It's not like the prize money is all that great anyways. Do away with the sponsors and move to JustinTV I say.
