    hey my bike was vadalised there last year. i need two new wheels (alexrims da22), a saddle and a chain. the bike has suffered some rust cause it was left outside for bout a year. any idea how much this will cost me? thanks in advance

    http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=31957 92.75e for a cheap set of shimano wheels (not fancy by any means but probably just as good as the alex da22's on your scr.

    You'll also need to budget at least 15 euro for a new 8 speed cassette and a similar amount for a new chain. Perhaps 20 euro for cheap saddle (just guessing here, don't think I've ever had to buy a new saddle) and then there's tubes (3 or 4e each) and tyres (I like panaracer rimbos which are about 30e each but you can go cheaper if you like).

    You may also need new cables and cable housing if the bike's been left out that long and you'll also probably need to service and re-grease all the bearings.

    Sorry to hear your bike was fucked with. Did they steal the wheels or just kick them in?

    thanks mate. they smacked the wheels in with a concrete block. so how much would you wreckon i should put aside?
