Recommend me a fast Tubular!!

    Looking a buying a new Tubular for the TT bike ,its going on a Corima disc ,has a Conti Sprinter on at the mo but seems not to be holding pressure well.Be doing mostly 16km and 40km TT, anyone recomend a descent tubular with good rolling resistance

    If its for TT,s then a Victoria CX TT great tubs roll really well.

    What you have on at the moment has a very good all round reputation. For the price, you'll be pressed to do better

    Tubulars generally use a latex inner tube and so need to be re-pumped daily- is this what you mean by not holding pressure? Or do you mean it is going flat in the course of a TT?

    Ya the tubular that is on the disc right now is losing air within a hour or 2 of pumping it to 140.I checked the valve extension and put plumbers white tape around it.Had to pump the tubular on the start line before TT the other evening.
    I have a Conti Podium 700 by 19 but for the life of me I could not get it on the disc last night.
    Is the Tempo not for track use?how does it hold up on the road ?

    Sprinters have butyl tubes, not latex. All conti tubulars do.

    You could try adding some sealant - although if it doesn't spread evenly inside the tube it can create a bit of a wobble. Not really a long term solution though...

    Some place will repair tubes and stitch them back up. Masochists.
