Found that (paper 1) to be quite a good exam all in all, there were a few things I didn't get in the short questions (Q7 being particularly difficult) and some in the long questions (that whole PayPath thing on the Banking question - we never covered that, and I just bull****ted on about a guess, which as it turns out was completely wrong..)

It was pretty fair though, I even managed to do an extra question (I did all of them except Club Accounts, Q2).
Now it's whether the same can be said for paper 2..

There wasn't anything too difficult on the paper, I did Q 1,2,3 and 6. Hoping for a borderline B, but really dreading paper 2 ;(

I thought it's french in the morning. At 09:50 my father rang and said I have 2 minutes to get ready. I came in 25 minutes late, and walked out a few minutes early. And still confident of at least a B, let's hope P2 will be the same..

paper 2 was very odd i think compared to other years and there was a 34 mark letter :eek:
didn't get my balance sheet to balance though. suppose i never got one to :rolleyes:

Another 4 or 5 in my class got that too!

The rest got outlandish and different answers...

Business was wonderful.

All my accounts balanced, I think I got the right figure for the budget, I was able to do all of the short questions, I left paper 1 forty-five minutes early and I left paper 2 forty minutes early after doing an extra question. I think I only lost about 10-15 marks in the whole exam. Pretty good after doing no study all year, but I have a brilliant teacher. Best exam so far.

Wow, wow, wow! They were both simple. I definitely got an A in both papers!

The short questions were simple. I balanced my two accounting questions too!

Left with an hour to go in paper one: did questions one, two, three, and six.

Left with half an hour to go in paper two: did questions one, two, four, five.

Lads I've heard varying vigures of 12183 and 12683, which is a five hundred difference. See, y'know for the holiday question, 500 had already been paid in Jan-March, and it said in the question that the balance of the 2200 had to be paid in June. Anyway, I said '1700' for that, but I actually have no idea whether that was right or not. I think I got 12183 for that so, going by that, but I can't really remember :L. What did everyone else do for that?

I got 12413 for the budget balance?

I took it as €500 already payed towards the holiday as it said that the balance was due in June.
Found both papers really simple - Especially the short questions for once! Somehow everything that I studied this morning at 6 came up.

Definitely an A.

forgot to write down what i got in my trial balance :'(

also, rory gallaghers anniversary today, coincidently, the address for the invoice in business paper 2 today was Ballyshannon, County Donegal, where he was born :L

Was expecting a horrible paper 2 after that paper 1 but it was great!! I think I got 12683 in my budget but I was just scanning over it before I left and I realised I had made an addition mistake. Twice. So, that could have been the total I had before I fixed the mistake...:o
Everything balanced! Q1 P2 was class nothing awkward at all! My all time record for Q1 was 45min but got it done in 35mins:D And the examiner guy gave me an extra minute to finish colouring my ad:D:D Good day. And my last full day!!:D
