Meloneras - Canaries

    Hey Folks,

    Anyone been to Meloneras or Maspolomas in Gran Canaria recently?

    Heading over with the missus for a quiet sun week away staying in Lopesan Costa Meloneras.

    Looking for some nice places to go, resturaunts, bars (that aren't full of teens) or even places worth a look while driving.

    was in gran canaria last year, if you want to be away from teens then my advice is go from late october to early march, otherwise the place will be swarming with em

    spectacular drive from maspalomas to playa de mogan, especially the puerto rico/playa de mogan part of the trip

    If you're getting a car, head along the coast to Puerto de Mogan, then turn inland into the mountains and follow the road to Roque Nueblo and then back to the coast via San Bartolme. Amazing views, scary roads are worth it!

    im going in late august and like the op wanting somewhere quiet. Also id like if possible to go surfing. Havent booked accomodation yet, anywhere ye would recomend to stay?
